InvestSA OSS

The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA), in partnership with the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA), has launched a new InvestSA One Stop Shop (OSS) satellite office in Tshwane. The OSS brings essential government and regulatory services under one roof, from company registration and permits to tax facilitation, municipal support, and investment promotion. By simplifying processes and saving time, it makes it easier for investors and businesses to grow, reflecting GGDA and TEDA's commitment to driving economic growth and creating a business-friendly environment across Gauteng.

Investment Promotion and Facilitation

TEDA promotes the City of Tshwane as a leading destination for investment for South African and international companies with a focus on priority sectors of: Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and components, Business Process Outsourced services, Agro-processing, Energy, Tourism, Property Development and other manufacturing and services sectors. We facilitate investments into the City of Tshwane and make the investment process as seamless as possible.

Business Retentions and Expansions

TEDA provides support for current investors in Tshwane to retain their businesses and operations within the City of Tshwane. Efforts are also made to encourage future expansions of current operations. We provide aftercare support for investors in the City of Tshwane to ensure long and sustainable operations in their chosen location.

Export Development and Promotion

TEDA provides export development and promotion services to existing and emerging exporting companies located in the city Tshwane to assist them to gain access to international markets. TEDA provides market entry information, training and promotion of exports through trade exhibitions, missions as well as facilitating export finance, export insurance and export incentives.

Destination Marketing

The Destination Marketing Division promotes Tshwane as a preferred destination for investment and tourism. We market the City’s investment, tourism and events offerings to domestic, regional and international markets to increase economic growth in Tshwane.

Development Facilitation

Development facilitation entails the coordination and integration of various strategic developments critical for the growth of Tshwane economy. The assessment of developments in line with the development vision of the City and facilitating its administrative processes with the various developmental instruments available. The oversight on developmental outcomes and socio-economic impact. The role is technical relating to planning and infrastructure, thus, facilitating developments traversing feasibility and implementation.

Area Based Development

The focus of area-based development is to define the desired development direction of strategic nodes; priority precincts; and packaging of precincts based on spatial considerations. The area-based development projects are an ongoing process of local area elaboration planning that complement and support the Metropolitan and Regional Spatial Development Frameworks of the City of Tshwane.

Project Implementation

Project Implementation entails the execution of Capital Projects which are mainly developed at the Project Development phase or as handed over by the City of Tshwane. It includes the design, administration and management of the construction contracts and necessary to effectively and successfully complete the projects. The function covers preliminary designs, detailed design development, tendering and procurement, construction and project close-out.
