On Thursday the 2nd of February the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA) together
with its board members visited the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone (TASEZ). The
purpose of the visit was to get an update on the progress of the SEZ as well as to discuss how to
strengthen the relationship between TEDA and the SEZ.
Present was TEDA board chairperson Miss Anjue Hirachund as well board members Kennedy
Maimela and Jan Mocke. We also had in attendance Acting CEO of TEDA Mr Osiame Mokoena,
CFO Zane Mheyamwa and executives from the Trade Investment Promotions and Projects
department.
We were hosted by Tshwane Special Economic Zone CEO Dr Bheka Zweni and his executives
Msokoli Ntombana and Andile Sangweni who head up the business development and TASEZ
infrastructure departments respectively.
As part of the visit, TEDA also had the privilege of doing a walk-through of the Special Economic
Zone to see ongoing progress on various projects and infrastructure.
