Adv. Letsepe Thubakgale

Adv. Letsepe Thubakgale is an advocate by profession and he is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Letsepe's Business Management Consulting. He has over 15 years’ law experience in the areas of labour and fundamental rights and constitutional practice.
Adv. Thubakgale is passionate about human rights, transformation, labour matters and corporate governance. In 1999 he was appointed as Town Secretary of Bela-Bela Local Municipality and in 2002 he was appointed as Legal Advisor to the Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality. Adv. Thubakgale held other senior management positions in Polokwane Municipality and in 2005 he was appointed as City Manager. He has had extensive exposure in local government and was a proportional representation councillor for the ANC in the Bela-Bela Municipality in 1995. He has established networks within the sphere of South African local government.
Adv. Thubakgale holds an MBA from Unisa, LLM with specialisation in fundamental rights and constitutional practice from the University of Pretoria; B Iuris and LLB from the University of the North (now the University of Limpopo).
He has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law from Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg) as well as the following courses at the Wits Business School: Executive Development Programme; Corporate Governance focusing on“Managing A Turnaround and Corporate Renewal and Making Markets Work”. He is currently registered for a Doctorate Degree with the Da Vinci Institute.
Adv. Thubakgale has served on various audit committees, such as the Bela-Bela Local Municipality and Aganang Local Municipality. He is currently the Chairperson to the Audit Committee of Fetakgomo Local Municipality.
